During the 1980's Colt Firearms offered these posters to dealers to hang in their shops. This chart shows a complete exploded view including part names and part numbers of the entire internal mechanism for the Colt M-16A2. It was used for training sessions, and armorers training schools. This is a very rare item that would make wonderful display piece in your gun room, gun shop, or man cave. It is 4 feet long by nealy 3 feet tall on very heavy vinal type paper.

This rare, out-of-print book catalogs Colonel Colt's outstanding arms collection, which is now housed in the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut. This book was created in 1964 to accompany the first public exposition of the collection since 1905. Black and white illustrations, 6" x 9", 132 pages. Published by Herb Glass for the Wadsworth Atheneum. 1964. The dust jacket shows some minor wear.

Gold plated "Colt The Legend Lives" belt buckle.

Joe Foss was a great American hero with a wonderful historical past serving in the armed forces in many different capacities. Colt produced a limited edition Joe Foss commemorative gun. This medallion was included with the gun. It's one of the most beautiful medallions we've ever seen.The detail on the high relief carving is nothing short of spectacular. It is very heavy and believed to be bronze, not plated. It's brand new, in prefect contain. Another rare Colt item. Measures 3 inches in diameter.

A Colt item introduced in 1986 for the 150th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Colt company. The medallion itself was purchased to be inset into a presentation case lid that housed a 1986 Colt 150th anniversary commemorative revolver. There was many more medallions made than cases, so there were extra medallions left over. Some of those medallions were made into belt buckles and some of them were given away. They are extremely rare and collectable. The medallion displays a beautiful blue cloisonné pattern, Measures 2 1/2" in diameter.

In the early 1970's Colt re-introduced many of the black powder revovers. The attention to detail was amazing. At the same time, Colt reintroduced the case accoutrements that accompnied these revolvers. Bullet molds, powders flasks, nipple wrenches etc. all became part of Colt's plan for this re-introduction. Another of the items introduced were the cap tins. The cap tins we are selling are the original Colt re-producyion tins. The picture is generic. You can see the small spot of rust on the bottom. Many of our tins exhibit a tiny amount of this rust. You can't go wrong with an original Colt cap tin.

This is a very rare solid sterling silver button cover that was cast by Leonard Francolini in the late 1980's. It is an excellent depiction of the Colt dome. You can see from the picture that it snaps over any button to serve as decorative piece of Colt memorabilia. Works perfect on mens shirts, women blouses, or even if you had a small tie tack you could attach it over the tie tack. Very rare and collectable.
