I resigned my position with Colt's Manufacturing in 1993 and opened the doors of Nutmeg Sports. Since then I have never looked back and the business has prospered. My family and I continue to offer what we feel are the finest custom services available for the Colt SAA anywhere today. We constantly receive feedback from clients telling us how happy they are. Sometimes I show those letters and emails to my Wife, Daughter, Son-in-Law or close friends. Their response is always the same. They keep telling me to create a page with testimonials from clients. So....here it is. Beginning this month. They are all real...and unedited. I have only eliminated last names. I am also not posting any celebrity names and feedback although we have performed a lot of custom work for rock stars, movie and television personalities, and politicians. The engraving is outstanding and the ivory grips are absolutely beautiful...I've seen more than a few ivory grips in my day and these are as "good as it gets" in my opinion and I am in "awe" of the detail and quality of the engraving. The gun arrived safe and sound.  I love the grips.  The cards are probably 40% 
larger than the ones that Dennis did on my Purdue pair, and both the cards and 
steer head have much more depth.  I think they go perfect with the way this gun 
was engraved.  What an improvement from those poorly fitting pearl grips that 
were on it before. Your action job on an early 2nd generation gun..... all I can 
say is "wow", it makes me want to shoot it.

I picked up the grips this afternoon. Thank you for the speedy turn-around. Wow. The pattern on the ivory layers looks a lot like a pair I have on my FA 454 Casull. Much different than the tight grain on my 1st 1911 grips from you. If these age in any way similar to my 454, they are going to be stunning. I am guessing if you had 10 sets laid out, and said pick one, these would be my choice.
